Ideal for smaller areas, with narrow access, the 100 Series mowers combine economy, manoeuvrability and commercial performance in a compact package.
These units can easily work 1.13 hectares (2.8 acres) per hour.
Powered by 20 hp V-Twin Briggs & Stratton’s Extended Life Series petrol engine, the entry model GH120-41 features a 41" Dura-Max side discharge cutting deck, with the other Kohler powered model in the 100 series having a larger 48" deck, and the third member GH124-52 featuring a 24hp Briggs & Stratton with a 52" deck.
The smaller size doesn't mean Grasshopper has skimped on features. On the contrary, these include: an extra large 8" (200mm) spindle housing flange, greaseable bearings, six bolt pattern and 4 1/2" (114mm) deep deck which provides exceptional strength and allows the operator to travel at higher speeds (up to 12 kmph) in the toughest mowing conditions.
All units are solidly built, with 10 gauge steel deck, extra 7 gauge reinforcement and 7 gauge formed skirts.
The 100 Series is extremely comfortable, with less vibration, better legroom and a new footrest, with Shock Impact Reduction System (SIRS). The seat is fully-padded, with lumbar support and padded armrests, and is complemented by coil spring suspension for added comfort.
With total control at faster mowing speeds, the operator can change hand, arm, leg and body positions without having to slow down. The low profile and low centre of gravity provide exceptional stability at high speeds.
Like other Grasshopper mowers, the 100 Series features the coolest running capability to take Australia's extreme temperatures-the highest temperature specification available from the manufacturer.
All Grasshoppers feature deep decks to process more grass much faster, without blocking, to get the job done faster and more efficiently. Dual function, full-floating decks provide the option of side discharge or mulching.
